Nuovo Santobono – A Hospital Where Children Remain Children

We recently completed a beautiful animation project for what will become the largest pediatric hospital in Italy — the Nuovo Santobono in Naples.

From the very beginning, we worked closely with the client to shape the concept around a powerful idea: that this hospital should be a place where children can still be children — where imagination and playfulness are not only welcome, but essential to healing.

The animation tells the story from a child’s perspective, where anything is possible. Reception furniture inflates and turns into balloons, the paintings on the walls move as if they were alive, and every corridor is a new adventure. This narrative allowed us to let our creativity run free — we truly felt like kids again while bringing it to life.

Despite the challenge of producing nearly 3 minutes of full animation and 1.5 minutes of schematic visuals in just one month, the result is a piece we’re incredibly proud of.

We hope it brings a smile — and a bit of magic — to everyone who watches.
